So...what happened?

So wait a minute...Thomas Jefferson said this...one of the Presidents of the USA and you mean to tell me that TODAY we are going against this very thing?! Honestly it doesnt surprise me but its just frusterating to see how AMERICA tries to play it self up like it is the best thing since sliced bread, tries to tell the world how we are all equal and free but yet this very same country has been OPPRESSING their very own citizens and making them feel like SECOND CLASS CITIZENS! what is up with that? Equal my ass! The only folks that are equal are the ones with the money AND the right look. If your not with them your against them...its sad. Constantly making people feel inadequete simply because they are differnt...its like the damn civil rights movement all over againg except they have spared us the police dogs, & the fire hoses. Just like African Americans were prohibited certain rights so is the GLBT community and no one wants to admit to it! WTF IS THAT! Hopefully we see some change but in my opinion I think that they will do the same thing they always do "leave it up to the states to decide..." and as a result of this...we have Prop 8 WHICH IS SOME BULLSHIT!
