Do Penguins Have Knees?

I only see their feet...so do they have knees? I asked my lemon and she said "yeah I think so because they have legs so I'm thinking they need something to help support their thights lol do they have thighs?" Great THANKS LEMON MORE QUESTIONS!

Then I asked my little sister... here's how that went
Lil Sis: No...
I say: They Have to!
Lil Sis: They Do?
Lil Sis: lmao how they can't bend them
(-.-) no help SHORTCAKERZ!

So now I ask do the have knees and thighs? I would think so right? where are they though? All these questions so I googled it...and after some research I found my answer!!!

ANSWER:

Yes. Penguins appear to have very short legs and no knees because only the lower leg is externally visible. Their knees and upper legs are feather covered, hiding them from view. This also means that penguins never get cold knees!
