Takashi Murakamin earned the slot of the lone visual artist on Time Magazine's 2008 list of Top 100 Influential People.
Murakamin has a huge following on his graphic works of manga and anime. However, the artist changes gears with 8 paintings that deviate from his well known style to a more abstract direction.
