Today In History

I read this on the Express Newspaper today!

1955 Emmett Till, a black teenager from from Chicago, is abducted from his uncle's home in Money, Mississippi, by two white men after he had SUPPOSEDLY whistled at a white women; he was found brutall slain three days later. Read more on the murder of Emmett Till HERE.





1963 Two hundred thousand people participate in a civil rights rally in D.C., where Martin Luther King Jr. gives his "I Have A Dream" spech in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
