There are conflicting stories circulating on the web that Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae died in a car accident late Sunday night. Messages of sadness and support have been massive, along with messages of love for Lil Wayne and his family. Some are saying, however, that the story isn’t true.
Yahoo Answers has this message; it’s been posted two times but hasn’t been verified yet. The poster says they are an aunt of Reginae’s.

Thanx to all of u who are genuinely concerned about the recent report of Reginae being killed in a car accident. It means a lot to our family to know that so many of u care (calls have been coming in to our family all day & are continuing to do so). I am pleased to inform u that this report is FALSE!! It is merely a rumor started by someone who obviously is miserable in their own skin that they would even have the notion to attack a child. Rest assured Reginae is tucked away in her bed @ this very moment trying to get past the hurt this ugliness has caused her and our family. It’s ironic however that although the evil,hellbound[EXPLETIVE] that started this hate mail did something like this to Reginae….she still said a special prayer for them 2nite. This is Nae’s Aunt & all of the responses that I wanted give all went out the window when I heard that prayer. So to all of our extended family & friends & fans…please join us in saying a special prayer for the lost soul who simply had nothing better to do….be sure to include ..”LORD please forgive them…for they know not what they do”. We love u all,we thank u…and we hope u will spread the good news…Nae-Nae is okay…smile God loves U!!
Another post was also on Yahoo Answers, and says that there was an accident but that Reginae is okay, but that someone else in the accident died.

Another unverified report supposedly from Reginae’s mother says that she is okay and at school. Many reports from early this morning say that Lil’ Wayne’s daughter was killed. Hoax? Mixed information because of a tragedy? Stay tuned for details as they become available.

My Thoughts:
I truly hope that this is just someones sick idea of a joke. It seems as though this world is going down the toilet. I know that celebrities are attacked by rumors all the time and i mean its something we all know happens, they are adults they can deal with it. However to make up a rumor of a child, an 8 year old little girl is just wrong in so many levels! God forbid that this rumor has any truth to it. How evil would you have to be to send out that negative message? death is NOTHING to joke about...we have recently lost two people, Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes...not they want to say Lil Wayne's daughter is gone? People get a fucking life. I will be researching this rumor all day to find the truth so stay tuned.
